Birth:
Britney Spears was born on 2nd December 1981 in McComb in Mississippi.her mother is Lynne Irene, a primary school teacher and father Jamie Parnell Spears, a building contractor. She was brought up in Kentwood, Louisiana. She has a brother and a sister. While brother works as a manager sister is an actress and a singer.
Early Age:
Till she was nine years old she used to attend the regular gymnastic classes and was a good gymnast and participated in the district level competitions winning laurels. She also used to sing in the Baptist church choir. When she was eight years old Spears auditioned for the Disney Channel in The New Mickey Mouse Club. Impressed by her, the producer of the show introduced her to a NEW YORK CITY Agent. She ended up joining Professional Performing school of Arts and got her training for three years. Still a trainee there she appeared in the popular television show- Star Search but did not taste success. At the age of eleven she again joined The New Mickey Mouse Club.
Carrier debut:
After getting the training for three years her liking for acting grew. She also developed the taste for singing. She brought out her first album “Baby one more time” in 1998 which rocked the whole of America and stayed on the top of the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart for 2 weeks.
Other albums:
On seeing the success of her debut album Spears released her second album Oops….I Did It Again in May 2000.It held the highest sales record in the debut week. In the year 2001 she released her third album Britney. Another album was closely to follow and it was named I am Slave 4U. With a view to promote her albums she took two world tours and named them Oops….I did it again world tour and Dream with a Dream tour.later she released two more albums called Circus and blackout.
Spears as an actress:
Spears had the chance to act in the lead role in the film Crossroads in 2002.For this film she received the awards for worst actress and the worst original song. She also made guest appearances in the films Austin Powers in Goldmember, Longshot Farenheit 9/11.Later she appeared as a guest appearance in many T.V. shows and films.
Marriage:
Spears was wedded to Jason Allen Alexander in Jan 2004 and divorced in 55 hours! She got engaged to Kevin FederlineWho had relation with Shar Jackson. In 2004 both of them got married and she quit her career and wanted to build up a family.She gave birth to a cute baby girl in 2005.In the year 2006 she gave birth to a boy.In the year 2006 she filed a divorce suit.

Britney Spears is one of the most controversial and successful female vocalist of the 21st century. She is the proud record holder of the Guinness world book as the best selling album by a teenage solo artist and most searched person.
